It was on 5/28. I was sitting with my friend watching Sean preach. It was a blessing. He gave a message to the Christians after preaching to unbelievers. He said how we should repent and tell people about Jesus. He said something like “This message is for you. You know who I am talking to.” and then looked straight at me. My friend said, “it’s not you. You tell people about God.” Yes I do but I do it with timidity. that week God was challenging me to be bold and lose my life for the gospel message and preach with fire. Although I am bold in people’s eyes. God knows that I put my light under a bowl or squealch the fire God gave me. I bursted into uncontrollable tears after sean said that. I wanted to cry since the beginning. But God’s Spirit and fired just touched me. I was just trembling. I felt free from fear and was ready to step out in boldness. I will preach the gospel in the face of ridicule and rejection. Hopefully even in the face of death. For me Sean served as a bold preacher who preached God’s Words without shame or fear. And my church had talked about ray Comfort’s way of evangelism too which was used. So God was just showing me in many parts of how He wanted me to witness and preach. Hallelujah! I’ve been feeling this fire in me for the entire week. I start to feel very weary holding it in so I am releasing it. I praise God for this ministry that is so encouraging and touches unbelievers as well to Christ.
Oh yeah it was really cool how there were only a few people at the steps. And after I ate my lunch, I came back and saw a circle of lots of young people. Everyone was so hungry for more of God! Hallelujah!
Shawn, where are you going to be in Ohio?? That is my home state and so many are in need of a Savior. The first place I wish you were going is Mansfield, OH. The state of that city is so pitiful and it used to be a bustling industrial town. I have family there, but I was raised on a farm north of Columbus. God bless and keep you and your family as you travel and minister.
